On
April 29th 1998 I had the good fortune of
being able to attend the rehearsal of the
Tito Puente Orchestra for the live recording
the following week at the night club Birdland
in New York City. The rhythm section of
this band is and always has been solid LP. The
rehearsal took place at Carroll Musical,
which figured significantly in the birth
of LP. It was Carroll Bratman who founded
this company that advanced me the money
to build my first instruments in 1964.
