August 21, 1999 Tito Puente recorded his second
album at New York City's Birdland for the RMM
record label.
I
was thrilled to witness this historic event and
I would like to share with you the images
from this recording session as well as a
recording
of the rehearsal.
For
the recording, José
Madera was playing the
LP Galaxy® Giovanni Series™ Premium Wood
Congas with the Comfort Curve Rims.
Johnny
"Dandy" Rodriguez,
Jr. was using LP
Valje® Armando Peraza Series™Wood Bongo
with a natural skin head on the small half of
the drum and synthetic on the larger half.
