Tony Escapa is one of the most complete percussionist/fdrummers to come along. Born in Puerto Rico, he grew up in Orlando, Florida where he gained experience in drum corp and roc drumming. When I first met him in 2002 he was playing timbales in the band led by
Cuban violinist, Alfredo de la Fé. He has most recently been working with Ricky Martin and Al Dimeola . He has also worked with Chilean singer, Claudia Acuña.
