Tony
is seen in this photo with Frankie
Malabe and
Eddie 'Gua Gua' Rivera in the background
on bass.
No one would argue that this is a HEAVY
rhythm section.

Tony
Jimenez was one of the most complete, all-around
percussionists in the history of salsa music.
His career began in the late 1980s and was cut
short by an untimely death in the late 1990s.
In that short period of time, he appeared on over
twenty albums, accompanying Justo Betancourt,
Tito Gomez, Junior Gonzalez, Andy Harlow, Larry
Harlow, Orchestra Harlow, and Jose
Mangual. He also worked with Julio Romero,
Frankie Rodriguez, Eddie Rivera, Ruben Blades,
and Milton
Cardona.
